Hotel, Information and Reservations:

The 5th Annual GFIRST National Conference will be held at the Omni Hotel at CNN Center in Atlanta, Georgia. A block of rooms is being held for Conference attendees at special “GFIRST Conference” rates. Please call 1-800-THE-OMNI and ask for the "GFIRST Room Block". To ensure you receive these special rates, book your room today – reservations are being accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

REMINDER: Please make sure that you have your valid federal, state, or local government-issued photo identification when checking in to guarantee the federal per diem rate of $141 (single occupancy). The corporate room rate is $169 (single occupancy).  You must specify the GFIRST Conference Room Block when booking your hotel room as well as the federal or corporate rate.THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.

All reservations must be made by August 4, 2009. Reservation requests received after August 4, 2009 will be accepted on a space and rate availability basis. You are strongly encouraged to reserve your room as soon as possible as space is limited!

IMPORTANT NOTE: You will be charged one night’s stay upon confirmation of your hotel reservation.

Transportation Information:

There are a number of transportation options available to/from the airport:

Taxi Service: Approximately $30 per way/$2 additional per person
Atlanta Airport Shuttle: Approximately $14 one-way per person/ $22 roundtrip per person
Limo Service: Approximately $77 plus tax per way
Sedan Service: Approximately $70 - $75 (taxes and gratuities included)

Directions to the Omni Hotel at CNN Center from the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport:

FROM I-75 NORTH & I-85 NORTH (TRAVELING NORTH FROM THE HARTSFIELD-JACKSON ATLANTA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT) - 12 miles

Take I-85 N (Merges with I-75 N) to International Boulevard Exit (exit 248C). At the second light at the top of the exit ramp, turn left onto Andrew Young International Boulevard. Then turn left onto Centennial Olympic Park Drive. Take the first right on Marietta Street. Motor Lobby entrance is 1 block on left side of Marietta Street.
