What is the 2nd Annual National Cybersecurity Summit?
The Department of Homeland Security, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) will bring together critical infrastructure stakeholders from around the world to a forum with presentations focused on emerging technologies, vulnerability management, incident response, risk mitigation, and other current cybersecurity topics at the 2nd Annual National Cybersecurity Summit. The Summit provides the opportunity for Federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial agencies, private sector organizations, and international partners to highlight successes and opportunities for collective action.
It is intended to be an inclusive event and will be particularly valuable for senior leaders, CISOs, general counsels, practitioners, and policy experts in public and private sector organizations, academia, and international entities who have shown a commitment to advancing cybersecurity and infrastructure protection risk management discussions.
The Summit is a no-cost event. However, travel, accommodations, meals, beverages, and other incidental expenses are the responsibility of the event participant and will NOT be covered by CISA.
It is not a vendor or sales event.
Where will the Summit be held?
The Summit will take place at the Gaylord at National Harbor, 201 Waterfront Street, National Harbor, MD 20745, September 18–20, 2019.
How do I register?
Registration for the Cybersecurity Summit is currently at capacity and closed. There will be no on-site registration.
Is lodging available at the Gaylord?
Yes, overnight accommodations are available at the Gaylord at National Harbor. Reservations can be made at https://book.passkey.com/go/dhscybersecuritysummit or by calling 1-888-236-2427.
Is parking available for attendees?
Yes, garage parking is available for $30/day or $14/hour at the Gaylord. Valet parking is available for $49/day.
Will media be able to attend?
Yes, the Summit will be open to media. For more information, please inquire at CISAmedia@hq.DHS.gov.
Are there opportunities to present at the Summit?
The Call for Presentations has ended. Speakers will be announced in late August.
How do I exhibit at the Summit?
Exhibit space at the Cybersecurity Summit is currently at capacity and closed.
Will education credits or professional development units be offered for attending the Summit?
No, Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and other types of education/training credits will not be offered.
Will there be a job fair at the Summit? How can I participate?
There will be a CISA job fair during the Summit, on Friday, September 20, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The job fair is free and open to the public. Please view the job fair flyer or inquire at email@example.com for more information.
