You are invited to attend the Executive Overview of the CDM Agency Dashboard (CDM301) course on Tuesday, June 25, 2024. 

This training is geared toward the Federal Civilian Executive Branch (FCEB) agencies; attendance will be restricted to attendees from these agencies (https://cyber.dhs.gov/agencies/). 

This two-hour course will describe the key elements of the Management Leadership Role as defined by the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) Framework, review the principles of information assurance, identify the federal laws that govern cybersecurity and required executive and senior-level management responsibilities, and discuss the purpose of the Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Program. The course will show how the CDM Agency Dashboard can help establish a cybersecurity baseline. A demonstration of how the CDM Agency Dashboard can be used to make risk-based decisions at the enterprise level will also be discussed.

  • CPE Credits: CPE Credits: Participants can earn 2 CPEs by attending this event in its entirety. You must log into the training environment and complete all lab activities to receive CPE credits. 
  • Attendee Requirements: This is a hands-on event. Attendees can use government-issued computers or personal computers. A second monitor is recommended. 
  • Note: Audio is through Webex; there is no external dial-in. Closed captioning (English only) will be available during this event.
